6 februari 2025

We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming 4th Master Course in Pediatric Oncology module Neuro-oncology in April 2025.

For who?

The Master Course is a theoretical and applied curriculum for colleagues active in pediatric oncology who wish to be trained at an advanced level, like fellows in pediatric oncology, early- and mid-career pediatric oncologists and other colleagues who wish to expand their knowledge in pediatric oncology. This course is endorsed by SIOP.

Modules & program

This course is organized by the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology (Utrecht, The Netherlands), the largest teaching and research hospital for pediatric oncology in Europe. It consists of four modules: General aspects, Hemato-oncology, Neuro-oncology and Solid tumors. All Modules can be followed in sequence, but also separately.

Each module now consists of two-and-a-half live days, which are accompanied by a comprehensive online pre- and post-program that can be followed in a self-paced manner during the month preceding and the month following the live days.

During the live days, topics are explored in greater depth during hands-on sessions which are given by national and international experts in the field. The sessions are aimed at knowledge sharing and training of clinical and professional skills. In addition, challenges when working in low recourse settings are discussed during parallel expert sessions.

The ‘live days’ of the third module Neuro-oncology will take place on April 23, 24 & 25, 2025 at the Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in hybrid form.
